An extra small fashion doll Parasol in chocolate brown silk, this one features a turned ivory handle, a full set of nibs and a handsome finial. The overall condition is good, but it does exhibit a few tight splits when opened. Measures: 7 1/4" high x 6 3/4" wide $695.00


A timepiece is a necessity in a fashion doll salon, so why not make it this unusual French porcelain one? Details include a porcelain body featuring a dial with Roman numerals, lavender luster, gilt highlights and a transfer scene below that depicts a hunting scene – all attached to a black-painted wooden base. The clock in non-operational and the dome does have a fracture, but the charm is undeniable. Measures: 7" high x 4" wide $595.00


We are always on the lookout for miniature time pieces, and were thrilled to come across this marvelous French toy Clock. Surely destined to become the centerpiece of your fashion doll salon, this example is of stamped gilded brass, with a convex glass face which protects a printed paper dial. The dial reads – Brevete S.G.D.G. – H.H. PARIS The joined hands can be set with the wing nut on the back, and it appears the exquisite, weighted and stamped brass pendulum was kept in motion by some type of spring mechanism, but it is now inoperable. There is slight wear to the gilt finish on the paw feet, but nevertheless, the look is très riche. France, circa 1860-80, it would be perfect in a large scale dollhouse, too. Extraordinary rectangular carton Box covered in French blue paper with a faux tortoise edge. The center medallion features an extremely lovely and colorful floral bouquet and is trimmed in tiny braid. Inside you will find wonderful compartments (one lined in claret velvet), with gilt details. An elaborate embossed paper scene of a fine interior is the focal point, and is complete with a roaring fire and a real mirror over the mantel! Some minor losses to the paper here and there, but inside it is perfect. Truly a gem. Measures: 1 5/8” tall x 6 ½” wide x 1 5/8” deep. $450.00
