A darling fifteen-inch Blampoix, this gorgeous example has so much going for her! Details include a perfect china shoulderhead with delicate coloring and painting, spiral threaded cobalt eyes in extra-large eye cuts, and a sweet curly lamb wig.
On a classic, very clean gusseted leather body with exquisite long china arms, the arms are in perfect condition and feature wonderful nail detail.
Her original light wool two-piece ensemble, in shades of cream, tan and black, is elegant for its design, and we love the way the cotton chemise appears as a blouse at the shoulders. Black silk ribbon at the hem, and utilized as piping, adds a crisp dimension.
Antique underthings, a simple black wool and lace chapeau, plus lovely antique tan leather short boots complete the enfantine presentation.

Hmmm.....we are in a quandary – we truly believe this "German fashion" belongs here and not on our German Doll pages. Here is her story – she was recently purchased in Paris, obviously marketed toward the French trade, and found on this classic French leather body, but her look is so "Kestner-like" that we would like to attribute her to the Kestner firm. To us, she appears to be a Kestner all-bisque, but all grown up!
Her poured bisque head and shoulderplate are perfect, she possesses exceptionally beautiful coloring, gorgeous blue paperweight eyes, pierced ears, and a lovely strawberry blonde antique wig.
Her leather body is in excellent condition, and she wears a wonderful late 1870s reception gown in cream and blue silk. Ruched self-trim decorates the hem line, and a hint of lace dresses up the cuffs and neck line – a spectacular presentation.

Features, besides those very broad shoulders, include a perfect swivel head and shoulderplate, great coloring, blue glass eyes and a super male skin wig with a side-part, and sideburns, plus an applied moustache and chin whiskers.

We have said it again and again, nothing adds life to a fashion doll scene like petite examples in attendance playing the parts of children and teenagers. This exquisite china from Claude Blampoix, who stands eleven inches tall, is the perfect candidate, and besides, she is just adorable.
Details include a perfect china shoulderhead with delicate painting, expressive cobalt blue yes with the tiniest striations imaginable, and a darling skin wig.
On a sweet gusseted leather body that is in good condition, showing normal wear, this child is beautifully dressed in the enfantine manner in navy silk. Brilliant blue brush fringe, rick-rack, lace (created from the rick rack!) and silk rope add the decorative details to the jumper-style dress that is worn over a marvelous cotton blouse. Antique leather slippers are a perfect fit, but we added the cut steel buckles for a dressy look.
