We especially love the detail of the frilly gauze "blouse" that is visible at the neckline, while a simple satin toque caps Lily's crowning glory – the fitting finale to a glorious poupee Parisienne.

A very rare opportunity for the collector of the all-original doll, is this extremely unusual fashion-type which we attribute to Simon and Halbig – an early product obviously intended for the French market. Classic features of this sixteen and one-half inch example include a perfect bisque head and shoulderplate, lovely coloring and painting, blue glass eyes with spiral threading, pierced-through ears, and an amazingly beautiful mohair wig which retains its original graceful style, complete with hair ribbon.
On a kid-over-wood articulated body, this very clean example includes a swivel waist and bisque arms (expert repairs to each thumb) with nail decoration. Elegantly costumed in royal blue silk, this exquisite ensemble features deluxe lace and coordinating tape trim. Original under things, stockings and leather boots (worn) complete the presentation of this once in a lifetime example.
