Circa 1910, a product of Simon & Halbig and marked “1159 Germany Halbig S & H”, this stylish Gibson Girl is dressed to the nines – no make that tens!
Stunning features of this twenty-four inch doll include rich brown glass sleep-eyes with lashes, delicate coloring, an open mouth with teeth, pierced ears and her original Gibson Girl styled mohair wig in an attractive light brown.
On a composition lady body with molded breasts, slim arms and legs, all bearing the original paint finish in excellent condition, there is even a Heinrich Handwerck stamp.
This statuesque lady wears a stylish navy silk gown that is overlaid with navy tulle. Note the front panel of the skirt, and the bodice features hand-embroidered swags, flowers and leaves incorporating metallic threads and even beads. The cuffs of black silk velvet feature additional beaded rope, and do not miss her chic black and gold velvet antique chapeau which is trimmed with black silk moiré ribbon and plumes, while a clip featuring a row of rhinestones adds a certain glimmer.

Made for the French market, this lovely 22" German bisque socket head, mold #1079 by Simon & Halbig, is on a French composition ball-jointed body marked “Au Nain Bleu” the French magasin which featured deluxe toys. Features include an unbelievably soft and full blond mohair wig original to the doll, unusual hazel-colored eyes with fur lashes, an open mouth with teeth, rosy coloring and pierced ears. She wears a lacy white cotton drop-waist dress over delicate robins egg blue silk. Her matching eyelet lace Priscilla bonnet is trimmed with a floral print silk ribbon, while her tan leather shoes and under clothing are also.

16" Simon & Halbig 1009. This child is special for several reasons-she boasts an exceptional, glowing, ethnic skin tone, lovely painting, a jointed French body, a darling original wig, plus, an original cotton costume and jewelry. Most likely, she was costumed to pay homage to one of the French colonies. This very sweet child was at one point in time, part of the doll collection of Barbra Streisand.

18" German Child from the Bähr & Pröschild firm – mold number 224. Details of this character-like doll include a perfect "moist bisque" head with pronounced dimples, lovely, blue, spiral-threaded paperweight eyes, pierced ears, an open mouth with teeth and a very flattering antique mohair wig.
On a wood and composition body which features straight wrists, she wears a fine red wool dress with black lace and velvet ribbon accents, and doesn't it work beautifully on her?

This very happy child, who we have nick-named "Mildred" is impressed "K & K 58 Made in Germany". A subsidiary of George Borgfeldt Co., the K & K Toy Company has ties to the Bonnie Babe and Baby Bo-Kaye, so Mildred sweetheart, you are in very good company.
Standing twenty-inches tall, Mildred has a perfect bisque (save for a nose rub) shoulderhead with blue glass sleep-eyes, an open mouth with teeth and a separate molded tongue, plus a cute, short brunette human hair wig.
On a clean cloth body with composition limbs in excellent restored condition, Mildred wears her favorite color – pink! Her play dress of pink cotton features bright pink lace, plus pink silk socks and black patent leather shoes.
Happiness is a chunky toddler named Mildred.

"Coquette"

12-3/4" Coquette marked Revalo from the Gebr. Ohlhaver firm, Sonneberg, Germany. This classic example features a perfect bisque socket head with gray/blue painted intaglio eyes, a closed mouth with molded and painted teeth, plus molded hair painted an auburn shade.
On a bright pink muslin covered carton body with hinged joints and jointed composition arms, all components are in excellent condition. Coquette wears her original factory presentation in excellent condition, although there is a loss to one shoe buckle.
