The world of Victorian whimsy was a favorite realm of John Noble's and he possessed a plethora of it! Whimsy, that is!
This seashell extravaganza in certainly no small whimsy. Never before have we seen anthing quite like it. The work is exquisite and the tiny ships sailing through the arch of seashells...delightful madness!
The crowning glory, in the form of a bouquet of seashell flowers, is totally over the top.
This confection-of-the-sea measures 7" wide by 14" tall with the dome in place.

A tiny Shell Doll in provincial shell clothing, mounted upon a black-painted, turned, wooden base. She stands a diminutive three and one-quarter inches tall, five and one quarter inches, overall.

A parian Sailor Boy with a molded hat is a rare find!
This handsome example boasts a molded collar, too. Other highlights include the original cloth body with china limbs, charming clothing and a pleasing face.
This sea-faring lad appeared in an article in Antique DOLL Collector magazine that John wrote entitled;
"All the Nice Girls Love a Sailor!".
This boy stands ten inches tall.

A Bouquet of
Seashell Flowers
A magnificent Bouquet of Seashell Flowers
of the Victorian era spills from its'
seashell-encrusted urn .
Picked fresh from Neptune's garden, the beauty of these flowers will never fade. Chenille leaves, a bird in a nest and stalks of wheat add to the delight found under this period glass dome.
Overall height is twenty-one and one-half inches.

A lovely Grodnertal Wooden also wears a delightful hat to top off her stunning ensemble, there are a few missing shells to the reverse.
She stands a sweet seven inches tall.
