John Darcy Noble and his partner, Robert
Clement, in their years together, amassed a magnificent collection of
antique Dresden Christmas ornaments. In fact, they loaned many of their
antique ornaments to a California artist who copied them...beautifully.
This thirty inch feather tree houses their collection of artist-made
"Dresden" ornaments. The colors and designs of these new jewels absolutely rival the antique ornaments. There is, mixed in with the Dresdens, an assortment of paper ornaments created by John. The number of unique ornaments on the tree is over fifty, in total. |
