John
included a chapter devoted to modern dolls in his early book "A Treasury of Beautiful Dolls" (1971). Martha Thompson's lovely dolls are well represented. The Prince Albert shown on these pages is the very one shown on page 193 of John's book, now just beautifully dressed in finery. Albert stands thirteen and one-half inches tall, is a shoulderhead model with bisque arms and legs and is in short, a dashing figure with exquisite details. SOLD |
