As you are probably aware, miniature crystal Chandeliers are a rarity, so to find a true pair is just short of a miracle. This pair, of shaped solid brass rod, with stamped brass ornamentation, dates from the late eighteenth-century and is Continental in origin.
Each chandelier bears five graceful branches with sheet brass candle cups, swags of faceted, lozenge-shaped crystals and is fitted with wax tapers.
One of the lights has seen a solder to the center rod, but otherwise both are in excellent, sturdy condition.
The pair is perfect for use in an early larger scale dollhouse, or in doll scenes of all varieties.
A true pair of chandeliers that is not only beautiful, but a beautiful rarity, as well.

The ultimate Toilette Table for your fashion dolls (or small to medium-sized bebes) – what is not to love? This fine French creation features two kidney-shaped surfaces for use and storage, plus a mirror and the addition of a polonaise – we haven't seen that additional feature on similar examples we have handled in the past. All covered in cotton with a delicate floral pattern; lace, passementerie tape, rope and ribbon bows enhance the piece.

Truly one of the most amazing paper toys we have seen in a long time, this set of Victorian Puzzle Blocks has a very special detail. Each cube features a pull string, that when pulled, activates an interior bellows that replicates the sound that each animal makes! For example, when the ducks are pictured, the bellows "quacks" and so forth. The condition of this set is very good, and the original box is of course, a very nice bonus.
Perfect for a museum.

Note the box lid features a very charming tea party scene, done in the Kate Greenaway style. The very pleasing palette includes soft blue pin stripes, gilded lines and pink blossoms upon each piece.
