Something tells us, that one could actually spin yarn with this amazing Spinning Wheel, a spectacular souvenir of Strasbourg. The turned details are plentiful, and include many intricately carved finials in ivory. Also, note the applied ornamentation in lighter woods – especially the row of bell-shaped drops that finish the bottom. Whimsy, blended with function – an attractive combination in this case!
Note how perfect this piece is when displayed with dolls in regional attire!

The combination of pale warm tones contrasted with rich black trim is usually reserved for German Biedermeier furniture, or at least that is what instantly comes to mind. We are happy to report this Bedside Commode was given the same design treatment, and with equally successful results. Of French heritage, from the Napoleon III era, this piece features inlay, turnings, a marble top. The cabinet is the perfect storage for a chamber pot...the drawer – night-time essentials – and the lower surface is the perfect place for a stack of books.
Your fashion dolls of 17-18" will be thrilled with their new piece of furniture!

Measures: 8-3/4" tall.
