Details of this service for six include silver pinstripes, edges and accents, all in a cheerful pattern featuring a blue ribbon and leafy swags in brilliant cinnabar. Overall condition is excellent, although the sugar bowl does have a chip to the rim. The box lid, although showing water damage, bears a marvelous scene of a tea party taking place in an elegant dining room. An amazing find, circa 1885. |
