Unbelievably fine, this piece is one of the most amazing miniatures we have ever offered. This mahogany Dressing Table features exquisite carving, a beautifully shaped top with banded edge, a tilt mirror on top with swan motif (even miniscule glass eyes were used), a fancifully shaped base and legs and tiny ivory pulls on the five working drawers. The lovely carving below the large drawer is beautifully reflected in the mirrored base. This piece would be right at home in a large-scale dollhouse or in a scene with early dolls. Circa 1830-50.
