This sweetly molded and painted china pitcher is in the form of a swaddled baby. Baby’s face features nice molding and painting with blue eyes and deep blushing and is framed by a lavishly ruffled bonnet with brilliant blue details. The swaddling clothes are adorned with ribbons in an old fashioned shade of pink. The cozy tot holds the pitcher spout in the form of a whistle. The piece displays beautifully with minor, scattered paint loss to ribbons. There is a hairline at the back of pitcher which runs from right shoulder to center of handle.
