This darling china flask is molded and painted in the form of a swaddled baby and rendered in a sweet palette of pastel hues. The cozy tot features a nicely painted face with blonde hair, relatively uncommon black eyes and vividly blushed cheeks. Baby’s lavish swaddling clothes are molded and painted in white china with a pink pillow, blue bows and gilt detailing throughout. Baby’s arms, wearing long green sleeves, are outside of the swaddling clothes and the left hand holds a gilt detailed rattle. Cork at bottle opening intact. In nice antique condition with minor losses to gilt detailing.
