Here we have an exceptionally nice china fairing box with a lid decorated by three rosy faced children wearing bonnets, muffs, and blue boots who are sweetly perched on a see-saw. The faces of the figures feature nice molding and painting. The piece is painted throughout with red, blue, and green details and gilt embellishments. Displays beautifully, but does present scattered paint loss throughout. A prior owner seems to have created a “mirror” using foil.
