We are pleased to offer a darling, all-bisque child attributed to Kestner. Details include early out of the mold features with a lovely, slightly “moist” bisque quality. Her brown glass sleep-eyes (head stuffed) have a twinkle of happiness and her open mouth reveals two, square cut front teeth. Her face is framed by the curls of her dark blonde mohair wig and topped with a rose pink chenille hat trimmed with antique millinery flowers.
Her all-bisque body features jointed limbs; her plump, gently blushed arms feature hands showing some well done repairs to fingers, and her legs terminate in heeled, black boots with pink garters. She wears a sleeveless silk dress in the sweetest shade of ballet pink with a pattern of embroidered cream dots and crocheted pink trim. Underneath, an antique cotton all-in-one and half-slip are worn.
