This French made beauty is costumed as a WWI era nurse. Details include nice molding and painting with gently blushed cheeks, set amber glass eyes and a closed mouth in a subtle, coral pink hue. Her face is framed by a blonde mohair wig styled in tight curls and covered with a diaphanous nurse’s veil (originally black and now mellowed to purple). She is on an all-bisque body with jointed limbs including arms with slightly bent elbows and hands in good condition and legs terminating in dainty, heeled one-strap shoes over molded and painted white stockings with a fine blue cuff. Her handmade nurse’s costume is comprised of a dress and apron in cream cotton (remnants of a red cross on the left sleeve) over a wool skirt in royal blue (scattered holes to bottom, left side of skirt). Underneath, she wears lace trimmed pantalettes.
