Here we have a charming pull toy in the form of darling boy upon a painted and papered wooden platform that is complete with a pull string. The boy features a German bisque head with blue eyes, an open mouth with teeth and a head of tightly curled blonde mohair topped with a felt cap. His body consists of a wire armature with a layer of batting, painted wooden lower arms (a bat of some sort is held in right hand) and legs that terminate in royal blue shoes over cream stockings.
He wears a carnival style costume of printed cotton with ecru lace details and bells mounted at the wrists. He is mounted on a wheeled, wooden platform that is covered with printed paper and when pulled by the twine pull string, his arms move up and down! This toy remains in nice condition with smooth motion when pulled.
