Here we have an instant vignette in the form of a French-inspired folding room, filled with a mix of delightful vintage and antique pieces. The background features six panels decorated in lovely paper, gold Dresden paper edging, Victorian scrap details and lithographed panels, plus windows draped in curtains of red fabric and lace.
This background, which was created by the talented Father David Reinders, fits perfectly around an octagonal “floor” of composition covered in decorative paper. A charming suite of antique furniture in white-painted wood, embellished with Dresden trim and Victorian scrap details and covered in burgundy silk includes three chairs, a chaise, a piano, a mirrored armoire, a table, and a footed jardiniere.
A selection of items in gilded metal include a folding screen, a birdcage, a plant holder and an ornately molded mirror.
An antique greeting card fringed in burgundy silk serves as a rug and a pair of glass candelabra sit on the table. Now all you have to do is add your choice of dolls to this wonderful vignette!
