For the collector of early dolls, we are pleased to offer a charming German-made papier mâché child, with features that include a sweetly expressive face with full, blushed cheeks, blue eyes and a head of center parted, curly black hair. (Hairstyle and face present scattered, age-related rubs, shoulderhead in overall very good condition.)
On a cloth body in good condition, she wears a fabulous two-piece costume of red and black striped wool with fine, olive green soutache trim and an olive green wool capelet trimmed in layers of black lace and tied with a black grosgrain ribbon (scattered, minor holes to costume.) Underneath, she wears long, cream cotton pantalettes with eyelet lace trim. Cream stockings and brown leather shoes complete her charming presentation.
