This delightful young man is rendered in firmly stuffed satin finish cotton. His expressive, needle sculpted face features an embroidered mouth in vivid red floss and eyes with an embroidered white background and a black beaded pupil.
His head is topped with a tufted black wool wig and an incorporated, wired cap in light brown wool. His wonderful costume features a sailor collar blouse of turkey red cotton with a horseshoe print, an open front blue wool gabardine jacket, brown wool britches and brown leather boots. An antique silver tone clip is attached to his jacket.
