Taking a rest from a hard day of house cleaning, is a lovely German china young lady. Features include a “flat top” hairstyle with a center part and abundant, beautifully coiffed curls (scattered rubs to curls). Her shoulderhead features sloping shoulders, delicately blushed cheeks, wide set blue eyes and petal pink lips curved in a sweet smile.
On her original cloth body with graceful china lower arms, she wears a sweet cotton dress of blue and white gingham plus a fine cotton apron with pockets and yellow and blue rick-rack trim (stuffing at top of lower legs is sparse). A gold tone pin engraved with the name “Cora” is worn at her throat, while a pair of knitted, striped stockings completes her look.
This lucky young lady comes with her painted wooden chair in an old fashioned shade of red with a yellow stenciled design on the seat.
She does present a fine crack to her shoulderhead on back, left shoulder and chipping to fingers of right hand.
