Here we have a charming Alabama Baby in a nice small size. The all-cloth doll with pressed and oil painted facial features includes relatively uncommon brown eyes, molded ears and nicely brush-stroked brown hair (crazing and scattered loss throughout head and shoulderplate).
Her firmly stuffed body features a cloth torso and oil painted lower arms and legs with stitched fingers and legs terminating in brown boots with black-painted details. The body does present scattered wear including area of fabric loss / exposed stuffing to left hip.
She wears a lovely whitework dress with an eyelet lace bodice, puffed sleeves and shell buttons down the back, underneath, cotton pantalettes are worn.
