Wonderful Early Wax “Pumpkin Head” Child

$650.00

Here we have a wonderful German wax over “Pumpkin Head” child in a substantial size and in outstanding condition. Details include a wax over shoulderhead with a particularly expressive face featuring black pupil-less eyes, an open mouth with lips that retain their rose hue plus a double row of delicate bamboo teeth, and pierced ears fitted with red glass earrings. Her elaborate molded dark blonde hairstyle features a center part, swept up bangs and a row of curls in the back (scattered molding stage holes to back of hair).
The shoulderhead remains in outstanding condition with only minor, scattered wear throughout.
On a firmly stuffed cloth body with leather hands (area of stitching separation to right wrist), hinge sewn knees and upper thighs, she wears a classic dress rendered in very fine cotton and featuring a print of dots and leaves in a soft red and accented with burgundy velvet ribbon and a cluster of millinery flowers at the bodice. She wears antique cotton underthings and white stockings under brown leather shoes with velvet ribbon laces.
Measures: 29” tall
