This lovely and substantially sized German papier-mâché girl features expressive brown eyes, coral pink lips and exposed ears. Her black-painted hairstyle is nicely molded in a classic center-part style with curls that fall to her shoulders. The shoulderhead remains in nice condition, save for minor age-related surface wear and scattered rubs throughout hair.
On a firmly stuffed cotton body with graceful, mitt style hands with stitched fingers and legs with hinge sewn knees and upper thighs, she wears a classic cotton dress in a red calico print on a field of cream (minor foxing to dress). A fine cotton slip and pantalettes are worn and early brown leather shoes complete her presentation.
She accessorizes with a strand of delicate, antique melon beads in a variegated pattern of green and white.
