Here we have a very dapper young man (attr. Arnold Print Works) rendered in printed cloth. He features an expressive and beautifully detailed face with a wavy, side parted hairstyle, blue eyes and parted red lips (area of foxing to lower right cheek). His richly hued, lavish costume is reminiscent of the Little Lord Fauntleroy style popular in the 1880’s and features lace collar and cuffs, knee length britches and a tassel tie at the waist.
