This elegant young lady, attributed to Simon and Halbig, features a bisque shoulderhead with set brown glass eyes framed by delicately painted auburn brows, beautiful molding, delicate coloring and full, shell pink lips. (She does present a repaired hairline that runs from front to back on the left side of her shoulderhead). Her molded and painted cafe au lait hair is worn in a fancy style with wavy, layered bangs and a braided, coiled bun in back. She also features pierced ears with red glass earrings.
On a cloth body with bisque lower arms, she wears a regional costume comprised of a wool skirt with a striped, apron style front, a white blouse and a laced, dirndl style bodice in sage green silk. Underneath, fine cotton pantalettes and a petticoat are worn, while red woolen stockings and leather shoes with red oilcloth trim complete her presentation.
