21-1/2" Emile Jumeau Bébé marked 8 over E.J. This bébé has the most sensitive expression, ever. Her bisque is perfect and pale, she has absolutely wonderful brown paperweight eyes, plus pierced ears with pearl earrings. Her sweetly expressive face is framed by a blonde skin wig (sparse in some areas) and topped with a bonnet of delicate net lace threaded with silk ribbon.
On a jointed composition body with straight wrists that retains the original finish, she wears a drop waist dress that is a confection of fine cotton organza with botanical motif embroidery and panels of delicate lace (scattered losses to dress.)
Underneath, she wears a cotton slip and pantalettes, while finely knitted ecru stockings and bébé shoes in her size complete the classic presentation (slip does present scattered foxing and fraying of lace at hem.) Head Incised: 8/EJ
