A charming presentation, and a lovely, “creamy” bisque quality are the calling cards of this darling François Gaultier Bébé 7. A "scroll" model marked F.G. in a cartouche, additional features include a perfect poured bisque head with a subtle molded tongue between lovely full lips, beautiful blue paperweight eyes highlighted by mauve shadow, evenly painted lashes, and pierced ears with turquoise blue glass earrings.
An antique lambswool wig is worn in a fancy style (wig presents matting throughout, but displays wonderfully) and topped with a fine cotton cap. The jointed body of wood and composition is in very good condition, showing only very light normal wear, however the hands do present slightly more.
She wears a classic dress of blue and white striped silk with a bertha collar and puffed sleeves trimmed in lace and a tiered, ruffled hem. The silk does present scattered tenderness.
Underneath, she wears cotton muslin underthings including pantalettes and a slip. French style leather shoes (showing wear and losses) over finely knitted blue socks complete her presentation. Head Incised: F.G. 7
