This sweet Bébé Steiner, a sixteen and one-half inch Figure A, size 11, features a perfect bisque head with early out of the mold modeling, cornflower blue paperweight eyes and pierced ears. Her strawberry blonde human hair wig is styled in sassy curls and topped with a bonnet of royal blue wool and adorned with violet silk ribbons.
The original Steiner body is in fair to good condition, and does present surface wear throughout, particularly to hands.
This child wears a dress of fine wool (scattered moth issues) with lavender dots, a crocheted lace insert at chest and violet silk trim (silk trim tender) at the elbow length cuffs and sailor collar. Underneath, fine cotton pantalettes are worn, while finely knitted cream stockings and black leather shoes with a gold braid trim and a faceted jet style button closure complete her presentation.
