$1,400.00
Here we have an early Bleuette. This little sweetheart, a 6/0 model, has a very nice quality head made by the German firm Fleischmann and Blödel and is known as a “Second Bleuette” circa 1905-1914. She features perfect bisque with lovely coloring, a slightly “moist” bisque finish, spiral threaded blue-grey eyes, full brows and vivid, rose red lips with a row of tiny, pearly teeth.
She wears a darling nurse’s costume (attr. Gautier-Languereau) including crisp white layers under a blue wool cloak with a red cross patch and pin. Her auburn mohair wig is covered by a white cotton nurse’s veil.
Head incised 6/0
