This darling François Gaultier Bébé 9 has it all - a classic presentation, and a lovely, “moist” bisque quality . A "scroll" model marked F.G. in a cartouche, additional features include a perfect poured bisque head with exquisitely painted lips that open to reveal upper and lower rows of tiny, pearly teeth, blue-grey paperweight eyes framed by full lashes and dramatic brows. A blond mohair wig styled in sweet curls frames her face and is topped with an oversized pink silk bow.
She is on a chunky composition body, with straight wrists and legs, which is in nice condition.
She wears a classic dress of fine dotted Swiss cotton adorned with lace and pink silk ribbons and featuring pink cotton inserts at the sleeves and a pink underdress. Underneath, she wears antique underthings including pantalettes and a slip. Black leather shoes over finely knitted cream socks complete her presentation.
