We are pleased to offer a domed trunk covered in pale green velvet with ornate silver metal hardware and intact velvet handles. The trunk is lined in gorgeous shell pink silk and ready to receive a small doll and her trousseau! In nice condition with normal, age related wear to nap of velvet and an area of minor denting to lid.
A label on bottom of the trunk offers a sweet provenance: “Aunts Nell & Bess gave this to mother for her doll clothes. Really for collars and cuffs, 1890. Bought at Irrigation Co store at La Grange California.”
Measures:10 1/8” wide, 5 ¼” deep, 5 ¼” tall.
