Here we have a German porcelain vessel, marked Dresden, that would be a lovely addition to the trousseau of a larger scale French fashion. Rendered in porcelain with a pattern of floral swags and gilt detailing throughout. A beautiful piece for the dressing table, it remains in poor to fair condition due to several chips, one at lid edge, another at rim of base, and a re-glue to the knop handle.
