This elegant Chinese screen (circa early 20th century) features an ornately carved wooden frame with a rich walnut finish, while the screen (which can be removed from the frame) features an opaque panel of semi precious stone (possibly nephrite) and features a scene of a playful squirrel climbing in branches laden with semi precious fruit and leaves of glass. In very nice condition and would make a lovely accessory for an elegant French fashion salon. Measures: 7 3/4” wide, 7 3/4” tall
