Imagine the delight of the child who originally received this incredible French faux bamboo furniture set!
Made in France and still in its original box, the six piece set features solid wood construction featuring components such as curly maple veneer, cane seats and faux bamboo details. Included is a bed with working casters at the feet, and a mattress and canopy covered in pink floral polished cotton, a mirrored armoire (missing left finial), a table de nuit with a marble top and porcelain chamber pot, two side chairs and one armchair.
The segmented, paper-covered wooden box with a carton lid (which has miraculously survived the years), features a rich red hue and gilt details. The furniture pieces are in beautiful condition. Box does present age related wear throughout, and spotting to compartments, but displays wonderfully.
