We have yet to see a J.D. Kestner 243 Asian baby that we did not instantly fall in love with, and this happy fellow is certainly no exception. This example, with a perfect bisque head, retains his original black human hair wig, brown glass sleep-eyes, plus he has pretty, perfect bisque and a darling expression. His bent leg, jointed composition body is properly tinted and is in excellent condition overall. The arms have possibly seen the paint refreshed, but if so, the work is incomparable.
He wears a marvelous seamstress-made costume of colorfully embroidered Chinese silks in a variety of jewel tone colors, plus an elaborate hat adorned with beads, pom-poms and antique trim. He wears an enameled beaded necklace. Black velvet shoes with integrated black socks and satin soles complete his presentation. Something tells us that this little fellow will do his best to become the crowning jewel in your collection.
