This sweet character child from the Simon & Halbig firm features a perfect solid dome swivel head, creamy bisque, pierced ears with earrings (chip to left earring hole), spiral threaded blue eyes (both with fractures) and a closed mouth with delicately tinted lips. Her face is framed by a chestnut brown human hair wig and topped by a straw boater hat with a black silk band.
On a jointed composition body in good condition (save normal age-related wear and a (poorly) repaired index finger on left hand), she wears a charming mariner style costume in a soft red hue with cream cotton tape trim and cotton covered buttons. Underneath, she wears an antique slip and pantalettes. Delicately knitted cream stockings and leather shoes of supple cream leather complete her presentation.
