We are pleased to offer a beloved and classic character child from Kammer & Reinhardt. Shown here is the 101 model known to collectors as "Marie". Details include a perfect bisque head with deep modeling, pale blue-painted eyes that have a faraway look (small area of scattered rubs to left cheek). Her face is framed by a darling blonde mohair wig topped with a classic, red straw boater hat trimmed in antique woven, checkered style ribbon.
On a jointed composition body that bears the original paint finish in good condition (save for scattered finish loss to hands and a repaired middle finger to left hand), Marie wears a drop waist dress of textured teal green cotton in a stitched windowpane pattern and an inset panel of cream cotton at the bodice. Underneath, she wears a slip and pantalettes of fine cotton trimmed in lace and ecru net stockings under black leather shoes complete her presentation.
