We are pleased to offer a charming boy from German doll maker Kathe Kruse (1883-1968). He features a sweetly solemn expression with painted-indigo blue eyes, gently blushed petal pink cheeks and painted dark brown hair. On a firmly stuffed body with the arms stitched at shoulders, jointed wide hips and hand stitched fingers and toes in very nice, clean condition, he wears an open front cream wool shirt under a knitted red jumper. Knitted red stockings and wooden clogs with a floral embellished toe complete his presentation.
He remains in very nice condition save for minor discoloration to left lower arm and palm of left hand does present an area of foxing. Measures: 17 1/2” tall
