This darling child from German doll maker Kathe Kruse (1883-1968) features a lovely, albeit desirable solemn expression with painted-brown eyes, deeply blushed cheeks and a head of painted dark brown hair (scattered rubs throughout head).
The firmly stuffed body is in very clean condition and features arms stitched at the shoulders, jointed wide hips and hand-stitched fingers and toes. Her beautifully detailed costume includes a cotton chemise, a colorfully printed skirt over red cotton pantalettes and a cozy crochet sweater and matching hat. No shoes.
