This charming little boy represents a special opportunity to acquire an all-original example from the beloved German doll maker Kathe Kruse. (1883-1968.)
Details include a beautifully modeled and painted face with a gorgeous pink tinted complexion, expressive painted eyes, nicely modeled ears, and a full, blonde mohair wig. Featuring a firmly stuffed cloth body with jointing at the hips and tab attached arms, this young man wears blue cotton overalls over a coral and white striped shirt.
Cream cotton socks and buff leather one-strap shoes complete the look, save for the basket (as-is) that he carries over his right arm. He is in wonderful condition overall.
Around his neck, he retains his original hang tag which reads: Kathe Kruse Echte Haare Tresslert, Original gekleidet, Made in Western Germany.
On his right wrist is another booklet style tag which reads Original Kathe Kruse Puppe
