Here we have a darling “Schweizer Bub” (Swiss Boy) regional doll made in Austria by the Baitz company. This darling young man features a nicely molded composition face with full, blushed cheeks, side glancing brown eyes and a mouth in an “O” shape (face does present a rub to left cheek). His curly blonde mohair wig is topped by a navy blue cotton cap trimmed in red felt.
On a body with a wired armature covered in cloth, he wears a regional costume featuring a short black felt jacket with red embroidery trim and silver paper buttons over a cream cotton shirt. He wears knee length britches in brown cotton, ribbed cream stockings and black cotton slippers.
He retains his original hang tag which reads Baitz, Schweizer Bub, Made in Austria. Measures: 9” tall
