This wonderful, boxed Mary Poppins set by Horsman is sweeter than a spoonful of sugar…

This set, licensed by Disney, was created in 1965 to celebrate Horsman’s 100th anniversary 1865-1965. The doll, rendered in vinyl, features a beautifully molded face with side glancing blue eyes with cat-eye lashes, gently blushed cheeks and full, coral pink lips with a slight gloss. Her rooted brunette wig is pulled back in a chignon style bun and topped with a blue felt hat adorned with pastel millinery flowers. She wears her signature costume comprised of a long blue coat over a dress with a lavender cotton skirt and a sleeveless white cotton bodice with a high, lace trimmed collar. Black net stockings under black vinyl boots are worn. The original box is rendered in vivid blue with a cloud pattern and remains in wonderful condition. This complete set includes the following:
