We are delighted to offer a Shirley Temple by Ideal, circa 1950s, in unplayed with condition, who retains her original presentation and box. This little darling features wonderful facial molding and painting with hazel sleep eyes, a creamy complexion, full, dimpled cheeks blushed in a vivid rose pink, an open mouth with vivid rose red lips and a row of pearly teeth. Her rooted titian hair is styled in her signature curls and adorned with a pink ribbon. In a jointed vinyl body with gracefully posed hands, she wears a dress of yellow organza with blue lace trim, a sash of blue satin ribbon and a gold toned pin that reads “Shirley Temple” in cursive. She carries a white vinyl bag that reads “Shirley Temple” in a red cursive script. Black vinyl shoes over silky cream stockings complete her stunning presentation. Also included are three boxed sets of Ideal Shirley Temple clothes in their original boxes including a pink taffeta romper set, a red and white polka dot pajama set and a three piece western set with denim overall, a red flannel shirt with a western motif and a straw hat.
Doll box reads: Shirley Temple Doll, No. 9500, Made in USA by Ideal Toy Corporation, Hollis, N.Y. All items remain in original boxes which do present normal, age-related wear.
