Here we have a delightful Babig-Koant (pretty baby in Breton) rendered in very finely molded and painted celluloid and produced in France by the Le Minor firm. Details include beautiful facial molding and painting with deeply blushed cheeks, flirty, hazel green sleep eyes and rose red lips (small rub to right cheek and small dent to tip of nose). Her molded and painted light brown hair is topped with a bonnet of royal blue velvet adorned in silver glass beads with a lavish pale blue grosgrain bow at the chin.
On a jointed, bent limb baby body of molded, hollow celluloid, baby wears a lavish costume comprised of blue velvet, blue satin and trimmed in lace and silver bullion trim. She wears a gold toned medal at her neck. Housed in original Le Minor box that is labeled Quimper and shows normal wear.
