Here we have an Italian cloth doll, a Lenci look-alike from Magis, in the traditional dress of the Lazio region. Details include a marvelous face with vivid, painted features including full, blushed cheeks, wide open brown eyes with soft blue shadowing and full lashes, a closed mouth with full lips in a berry pink hue. Her black mohair wig is styled in a low braid and is covered by a red headdress trimmed in lace. She wears gold hoop earrings and a gold chain around her neck. She wears a colorful regional costume in red wool with an apron, dirndl style bodice, and cream cotton blouse. She wears wrapped style red oilcloth shoes and carries a basket with blue millenary flowers.
A gold paper tag is sewn on her skirt and reads: Lazio. Housed in the original box, labeled Magis, it does present wear and separation at edges.
