Here we have a lovely French regional doll rendered in painted composition. Details include a nicely molded face with vivid, painted features including blue-grey eyes a pink tinted complexion and full lips painted a glossy, cherry red (area of crazing / discoloration to lower left cheek). Her face is framed by a black synthetic wig styled in waves and topped with a straw hat embellished with embroidery and pom-pom details.
She wears a colorful regional costume comprised of a red and white striped skirt, black apron with a hand-painted floral motif, and a white blouse. Her feet terminate in dainty, painted-on black shoes She wears a gold toned cross. She comes in her original, unmarked carton box which does show signs of wear.
