Here we have a wonderful doll in regional Portuguese dress and made by the Portuguese firm Linda Neca. Details include a beautifully molded cold painted ceramic head with blue glass eyes, deeply blushed cheeks and pierced ears fitted with glass earrings. wavy titian hair with a side part (scattered rubs to front of hair) and covered with a fringed red and white floral scarf. Her cloth torso is stuffed with excelsior, while her arms and legs are rendered in cold painted bisque (small rub to left pinky finger). Her lavish regional costume features a red felt skirt and bodice are adorned with colorful embroidery, sequins, and ric-rac, and her apron is embroidered AMOR. Her linen blouse features a net lace collar, scattered foxing to both sleeves. Cream socks and embroidered black felt slippers complete her costume. Linda Neca hang tag is worn at neck.
