“Peggy” the Steiff penguin features a full mohair coat with nice shading, a swivel neck and wide leather feet (along with the placement of her tail, this allows her to stand independently). Her expressive face features a vivid, coral red beak with a yellow edge (indicating a 1950’s era of manufacture) and glass eyes. Peggy has a kindly presence and would add color and texture to the doll cabinet or make a nice addition to a zoo or nursery vignette.
