This wonderful children's book, entitled Happy Children and published 1889, would have kept a child of the late Victorian era engrossed for hours. A mixture of poetry and short prose pieces, and as the title page boasts, is, "Profusely Illustrated."
It would add visual interest to a doll vignette or be a wonderful addition to a children's book collection. The book does present wear, discoloration and the cover is fully detached from the spine.
